The Girl Behind The Words…..

Sand Between Toes is the mumblings of  girl trying to visit every last place in the world to see what the planet has to offer. Take a trip with me and see some of the places I visit through a different set of eyes. I love to read your comments and if you have any suggestions of places I should visit then I will put them on my list and start crossing them off!!

  16. Hi Laura,

I’d say come further south in Australia, but only come to Victoria in summer, in winter it’s, well, like England would be, all drizzly and grey.

    Enjoy your travels 🙂

  21. Hi Nicole
Wow, great bucket list and you definitely seem to have the travel bug! My wanderings are limited to the UK coastline at the moment. But I was born in Kenya and spent my teenage years in the Bahamas – so I have been around. Would love to get to South America. And definitely China. One day….

  32. It’s nice to read other people’s experiences. Thanks for visiting danthonia.wordpress.com and for the comments. Definitely add Nepal to the list. Whether it be for trekking, a gentle walk, the shopping, the fun people, or the hectic, crazy lifestyle which is at the same time laid back and relaxed.

Like Emma’s article, I too have fallen for a country not my own. If I could afford every year, I would but the pleasure is in being away and coming back to my friends.

    Keep up the good work.

Any chance we could cross-post some of your content, giving you, your site, and the writers full attribution, of course.

I’m thinking two of your posts would be great – the one about Thailand from your friend, and the one with the list of traveler complaints.

    Please let me know.
